A Distinction Between Passion & Purpose

Greg shared a story about Michael Jordan that illustrated the difference between passion and purpose.

"There are people that love to play the game of basketball. They are passionate about the game. Then there is Michael Jordan. Michael didn't just play the game, he lived it. It was his entire focus. He was consumed by the whole  process of playing the game and by an internal drive to be the greatest player that has ever lived."

When you find your purpose, it will consume you and you will do whatever it takes to make it a reality. Long hours, hard work, countless failures and difficult situations will just be part of the process. They will not stop you. You will learn from them and use those experiences to realize your dream.
