The Maze Challenge |
Following the Maze challenge, the group explored some of the key learning points from the activity: Advice - It's good to think through your challenge or problem. However, sometimes you can over-think the problem. At times you just have to take action and get feedback. Seeking advice from people who have never been where you are going may not be very valuable. Support - When your teammates fail or make a mistake how is the group supporting them? "Beep" - As a leader how are you and your team responding to beeps? Remember beeps are good. Your team must get beeped occasionally to succeed and move forward. Stepping Backwards (flexibility) - Many times with a challenge or frustration we are determined to go forward to find the solution. At times we must take a step backwards to go two steps forward.
"Karate Kid" - Are you doing the karate kid
in your life? Remember the clock is running.
Every indecisive step allows another week, month or year to pass.
Step out and go for it! If you get beeped it's only information on
how to correct your path. |
