Most people are very good at complaining about the problems that
they face. But, complaining doesn't help to fix the problem. If
we want to be better leaders and more productive people, we have
to see problems as opportunities to learn and make progress.
Let's take a look at some simple
steps for solving a problem:
See
It
You can only solve a problem if you know what the problem is.
Start looking for problems that are affecting your life and be
clear about what you want to fix or make different.
Get Ideas
"The best way to get a good idea is to get a lot of ideas".
Brainstorm, be creative and develop ideas for resolving the
problem.
Work Together
Combine your ideas with the ideas of others and see what works
best.
Keep it Simple
Sometimes the best solutions are the easiest ones. Try to find
the simplest way to solve the problem.
Change What's not
Working
If something isn't getting you the result that you want...change
it.
Take Action
Try new things, different approaches and be willing to take
risks as you work towards solving the problem. Remember
that problems only get fixed when you at attack them. Keep
working towards fixing it and don't give up...even if your first
few attempts are not successful. The most successful people in
the world failed many times on their way to becoming successful.
