The Fuggle

How much can you handle?

The participants split into groups. The task as a team was to create a pattern, a system of passing objects through their team so that everybody touched it just once. Various objects were introduced throughout the game which came with very specific tasks. The team had to continue to move all objects throughout the pattern without stopping for the duration of the game.

Essentially, the intention was in relation to time management as the purpose of the activity was to overload the system with objects and tasks or challenges that made it difficult for the team to maintain the quality of their work. Time management strategies were later introduced to ensure our lives do not turn into a Fuggle.

The Fuggle showed us the following things:

"You can do anything but you can't do everything."

Saying "NO" is the key to quality.

If you can't have fun with a problem, you'll never solve it

Understand which tasks are unnecessary and slow your system
