Working Principles

As this was a level 3 camp, students were given the opportunity to create their own rules. Basic working principles were outlined to create a work process to ensure the best results.

  • You get what you give
In order to obtain successful outcomes, you need to put in as much effort as the quality of results you expect to receive.

  • Your team is a direct reflection of your ability to lead them
You have the ability to fix anything that is going on and make it better. The challenge is to question how you can affect it and change it. Really look at the team and wonder how you can change it if there is something you don't like.

  • Show up
The more you show up, the more you'll get out of it. A big part of life is just showing up and being there.

  • Nothing fails like success
Often times the key to being successful is inside our failures. Understand that nothing fails like success. Challenge yourselves so you can make a lot of mistakes during the camp.

  • Replace "no" with "how"
How is that possible, how can we make that happen? Possibility thinkers are some of the most successful people in this world. There is always the opportunity to learn, grow, and make things better.

  • Be abundant
One of the things we have to be really clear about in our thinking is not to focus on scarcity. We want to be global thinkers and understand that what you have, you can share with someone else, and when we do that we can be bigger and better.
